City plans energy expo for next June
The City of Goldendale has announced an energy exposition to take place at the Klickitat County Fairgrounds next June.
The event, sponsored by the Greater Goldendale Area Chamber of Commerce, along with the county’s PUD and Economic Development Department, will feature speakers, workshops, vendors, and special activities centered around green and renewable energy.
“This event is focused on responsible energy options,” Chamber officials said on their website. The idea is to showcase the various energy sources and bring dollars to local businesses.
According to Tracy Hansen, City Treasurer, five booths have already been filled and coordinators are calling for other interested parties to contact them at 773-3400.
