Bickleton knows how to host a car show
To the Editor:
Two weeks ago, I attended the Bickleton car show, and would like you to know that the people of Bickleton should be commended for a job well done. We were met by a nice man who showed us where to park, the people in the stores and restaurants really showed appreciation for those who showed up.
Everywhere we went, there was an eagerness and kindness not always displayed. The museum was a treat, and very worthwhile.
I told a lady in the museum that I thought my great grandpa was buried in Bickleton, and she went out of her way to find not only him but some of his kids buried in the Bickleton cemetery.
There must have been nearly 100 cars for the show, and the people were great.
The people know what the term “host” really means. The event rivaled anything I have been to.
Thank you Bickleton for a great day!

Cell phone found
To the Editor,
I found a cell phone in the parking log at the post office on Wednesday, Aug. 20, and turned it in to the postal clerk.
If you lost your phone, call your number... or check at the post office.
