Sea lions on the march

To the Editor,
     Heads up, folks.
Many people know how many years Bonneville dam has been fighting the sea lions who were killing and eating fish trying to get up the fish ladders. Last Thursday a friend and I spotted either a seal or a sea lion sitting on a pyling at The Dalles, watching the traffic go by on 84.
So at least one has worked its way this far east up the Columbia River to The Dalles dam. Now what?

Serving at GCS an honor

For the past seven and a half years, my wife and I have been involved as daily volunteers (principal, secretary, accounting, etc.) with the Goldendale Christian School. We consider it an honor to have been able to serve all of those in the community. We have seen so many give of their time, talents, and donations. We feel truly blessed to have been a part of this wonderful opportunity to serve God and His mission.
As we begin a chapter in our lives, we will take the memories and friendships of all the parents and students with us as we search for the next calling to serve our Lord as He directs. God bless you.
