Three cheers for the GHS band

To the Editor:
     We just want to give Mr. Siegel and the pep band a pat on the back for excellent entertainment during the home basketball games this past season. And we were proud to see and hear them at the district game at River View. Special recognition to Mr. Siegel for the many years he has worked to produce such a quality band. We are fortunate to have an instructor of his quality here in Goldendale.
     The way the band plays our National Anthem is just awesome. We went to most of the away games as well as the home games; some schools have bands, some do not. But none of them can compare to our GHS band.
     To Mr. Siegel and band members, good job!
