In 1958, they moved from White Salmon to Vancouver.
She opened the Charm-R-ette beauty shop in Vancouver and worked there for 31 years until her retirement in 1989.
After their retirement, they spent winters in Quartzsite, Arizona, until health problems forced them to remain in Vancouver.

Survivors include her sisters, Marie and Roger Vaughn of Monterey, Calif., and Jackie and Mike Templeton of Prineville; and sister-in-law, Janet Booher Williams.
