Audrey Fern Everett

     Audrey Fern Everett, 89, a lifetime resident of Bickleton died Aug. 2, 2008.
     Audrey was born July 14, 1919, in Portland, to Charles N. and Ethel (Leaton) Jensen.
She spent her early years and received her education in Bickleton and later graduated from the Bickleton High School. She then attended Central Washington State College in Ellensburg for one year and Portland School of Cosmetology for one year.
     On June 9, 1940, she married Cecil W. Everett at Bickleton. Following their marriage she and Cecil farmed in Bickleton.
     Her husband died May 11, 1992, and following his death, Audrey continued to make her home in Bickleton until the time of her death.
     She was a member of the Bickleton Presbyterian Church, Morning Circle, Bickleton Historical Society, Alder Creek Grange and Bickleton Pioneer Association.
     She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, granddaughter Kesha Goodnight and one sister Orpha Naught.
     Survivors include her daughter, Jo Ann Goodnight and husband Lawrence, of Grandview; two grandsons, Larry Goodnight and wife Robin of Bickleton and Kirk Goodnight and wife, Diane of West Richland; six great-grandchildren, Holly, Haley, Heather, Zachery, Emily and Jacob; one sister, June Newton of Camp Sherman; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
     Viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside.
     Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, at the Bickleton Presbyterian Church, Bickleton.
     Burial will be in the Bickleton I.O.O.F. Cemetery, under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.
Those wishing to honor her memory, may contribute to the Bickleton Presbyterian Church or the Bickleton Carousel Fund.
