Terry Lowe
Nov. 11, 1945 to Sept. 28, 2008
Terry lived in Goldendale from 1979 to 2008.
He loved this community. He enjoyed greeting people wherever he went.
Terry was born and raised in the Hood River Valley.
He went into the Navy for a short time and was discharged for medical reasons.
Terry was a member of the Goldendale Lions Club for approximately 15 years. He was president for one year at the local club. Terry was Diabetes Awareness chairman for two years. It was at this time Terry was well known for riding his motorcycle to all the clubs he visited. Terry was Zone chairman for District 19F, he ran for vice district governor for Multiple District 19F, but had to step down due to illness. In the year 2000-2001, he was Lion of the Year in Multiple District 19F.
Terry’s livelihood was traveling and camping in his RV. His last trip was made Memorial Day weekend of this year.
He rededicated his life to Christ. Now he is walking in heaven and free of pain.
Survivors include his wife, Alberta; son, Isaac; a brother, Richard and wife, Georgia; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.
There will be no services. Any donations can be made in Terry’s name to your local Lions Club.
