Robert “Bob” Lee White
Robert L. White, also known as “Bob” or “Bobby”, 68, of Goldendale died Oct. 7, 2008.
He was born in Ventura, Calif., on Aug. 15, 1940, the first of three children to James and Thelma Verna Mae (Gore) White. He was raised in Flagstaff, Ariz. For the last 24 years, he lived with his sister, Thelma Hodges.
Bob liked everyone and his greatest joy was his collection of toys and showing them off. He loved to put large jigsaw puzzles together when he wasn’t playing solitaire.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law John Berry.
Survivors include his sister, Thelma Hodges and husband Ira of Goldendale; brother, Carl White and wife Sharon, of Missoula, Mont.; nephews, Kevin Berry of Goldendale, and Casey White of Billings, Mont.; numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 1 p.m. at Wishram Community Church with a reception to follow.
Private cremation was held at Win-Quatt Crematory in The Dalles with Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
