Orville Kenneth Wilkes
Orville Kenneth Wilkes, 93, died Oct. 25, 2008.
Orville was born Aug. 28, 1915, in Colville, to Gilbert Earl and Nancy Burnham Wilkes.
He worked as a logger until he was injured in 1950.
He then became a television and radio repairman for Mansfield Hardware in Bingen, until his retirement.
Orville enjoyed hiking, camping, fishing, rock collecting and reading.
He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita, in 1982 and second wife, Allie, in 1989.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Wilkes of Toledo; four sons, Ken and Kathy Wilkes of Kalama, Keith and Kay Wilkes of Adams, Ore., Lee and LeVeta Wilkes of Willard, and Jim and Cary Wilkes of Goldendale; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 30, at the Klickitat County Cemetery, White Salmon, with Curt Mathisen officiating.
