Wallace B. Britton

     Wallace B. Britton, 66, of Goldendale, died Oct. 24, 2008, after a struggle with cancer. 
He was born on Jan. 11, 1942, in Napa, Calif., the son of Delford and Mary Jane (Twichell) Britton and a fifth generation St. Helenan. 
     He went to St. Helena schools and on to graduate from Arizona State University. 
He served proudly in the United States Air Force in the Vietnam Conflict.
     Survivors include his brother, Delford G. Britton; ans sister, Anne (Britton) Corna both of St. Helena;   sisters, Barbara Britton and Mabel Britton of Yountville;   sisters, Mary Jane (Britton) Martin of Phoenix, Ariz., Carol (Britton) Peet of Chico, Calif., and Betty (Britton) Burton of Minden Nev.; 12 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
     Graveside services will be held Oct. 30, at 11 a.m. at the St. Helena Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers please make a charitable donation to the Silverado/Napa Chapter of the American Red Cross.
