Geraldine L. Varner
Geraldine “Gerry” Varner, 65, long-time Goldendale resident, died Nov. 19, 2008, after a long battle with lung cancer.
Gerry was born March 31, 1943, to Lloyd and Florance Christman in Missoula, Mont.
Her husband, Bruce Varner, preceded her in death in 2002.
Survivors include Clarice Love, Lloyd Decker, Marcia Lujan, Wesley Decker, Jeffrey Beckstead, Charles Beckstead; 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. at the Vancouver American Legion Post 14. Donations are welcome in her name to the American Cancer Society.
