Bill Crapper
William Douglas Crapper, 47, died at his home in Klickitat, May 5, 2009.
He was born May 30, 1961, in Hood River, to Elmer and Catherine (Phillips) Crapper. Bill spent his entire life in Klickitat and worked as a carpenter in the construction industry. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time picking mushrooms and berries; hunting, fishing and camping. One of Bill's favorite holidays was the fourth of July; he loved fireworks. Bill had the love and admiration of his family and many friends, especially his best friend, Farrell Harris.
His father, Elmer Crapper, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila (Wenz) Crapper of Klickitat; sons, Dusty Crapper of Cheney, and Alan Crapper of Klickitat; a daughter, Jenna Crapper of Klickitat; brothers, Mike Kingsley of Klickitat, Pat Crapper of Carson, James Crapper of Dayton; sister, Megan Crapper of Klickitat and mother, Catherine Crapper, of Klickitat.
A funeral was held May 10 at the Klickitat Valley Baptist church in Klickitat with interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Appleton. Gardner Funeral Home handled arrangements.
