Buzz Seely

     Buzz Seely, 70, of Hot Springs, Mont., died May 30, at his Hot Springs ranch.
     He was born June 8, 1938, in Grandview, to Wilber and Lorene Crider Seely. Buzz attended elementary school in Roosevelt and high school in Arlington, Ore.
     A NPRA Gold Card member, Buzz was the all-around bareback and saddle bronc champions during the years of 1961, 1962, 1963 and 1964 for the Northwest Rodeo Association. He went on to compete at the NFR in 1965 and in 1969, where he won the saddle bronc riding average.
     His parents, a son Jody, and a sister, Phyllis Goree, preceded him in death.
     Survivors include a daughter, Jamie, son Justin; grandchildren, Cody, Colton, Faith, Lanada and Jody; and nieces and nephews.
     A memorial services was held June 11 at Wildhorse in Hot Springs. A memorial will be held in August, during the rodeo in Goldendale.
