Yvonne Huschka
Yvonne Rhea Huschka, 79, of Goldendale, died at their home in Goldendale, June 10, 2009.
She was born in Ainsworth, Neb., on July 15, 1929, the daughter of Fern (Davis) and William Casselman.
During her childhood, Yvonne traveled with her family, attending many schools. She graduated from high school in Salem, Ore., and went on to attend the University of Oregon and Pacific University. On April 26, 1953 she married Emery John Huschka in Forest Grove. The couple worked together in property management for many years. Yvonne was a member of the Four Square Church in Gresham. She taught Bible study and was a member of the Aglow fellowship with the church.
She was preceded in death by a brother Donavan Casselman.
Yvonne is survived by her husband of 56 years, Emery of Milwaukie; daughter Dawn Elliott of Toledo; sons Kent Huschka of Portland; Hal Huschka of Sweet Home; Rod Huschka of Portland; brother Billy K. Casselman of Honduras; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Columbia Hills Memorial Chapel in Goldendale.
