Lawrence Ray Nichols
Lawrence Ray Nichols, 74, of Goldendale died at home with his family at his side on July 19, 2009, following an extended illness.
Ray was born April 19, 1935, the eldest of four children to Lawrence Lowell and Ellen Constance (Peck) Nichols, at Redmond, Ore.
Survivors include his wife, Pat, of Goldendale; and four children: Janie (Wendell) Wilkins, Jennie Nichols, and Babe (Marvin) Mendenhall of Kamiah, Idaho; son Butch Nichols of Lewiston, Idaho, siblings, Margaret Buchhorn of Lakeview, Ore., Billy Wayne Nichols of Prineville, Ore., and Juanita Raines of Kennewick; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
At Ray's request, there will be no service.
