Larry Tremble

Larry Tremble, 67, of Goldendale, died at his home Aug. 9, 2009.
Born in Vancouver, on Feb. 16, 1942, Larry was the son of Thelma (Bugh) and Louis Tremble. He graduated from Battleground High School and joined the Air Force on Nov. 29, 1960. After his service to his country, Larry received an honorable discharge on Nov. 27, 1964.
Tremble married Karen Erington on April 16, 1993, in Vancouver, and the couple moved to Goldendale in 2004. Larry enjoyed working with wood, especially building birdhouses. He also spent many happy hours with another hobby, electric train sets. Larry was a fixture at the Goldendale Saturday Market and, always a talker, enjoyed good conversation with people. Above all, Larry loved his friends, family and grandchildren who will always keep him in loving memory.
He was preceded in death by brother Donald Tremble and sister Nancy Wolf.
Tremble is survived by his wife Karen of Goldendale; son Bret Tremble of Walla Walla; daughters Lisa Bailey of Vancouver; Carolee Accuardi of Redmond, Ore.; and Lisa Pennington of Longview; brothers Lynn Tremble of Vancouver, and Jim Tremble of Ridgefield; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Goldendale Grange. Columbia Hills Memorial Chapel handled cremation arrangements.
