Bassett (Skip) Leyson
Bassett (Skip) Leyson, 67, died Sept. 11, 2009, in the early morning hours.
Skip was raised in Mt. Vernon, then moved to Portland, where he sold insurance until retirement. Skip fathered two sons and a daughter.
In 1989, Skip met his friend Jenny and they became partners in home repair and rentals. Skip was good at sheet rock work and painting.
In 2003 Skip bought his home in Klickitat County, which he visited as often as possible to be with his new friends in the neighborhood. Skip was recognized by his white hair and pony tail.
Skip enjoyed playing cards, watching sports, fishing, hunting, music, and laughing often. Every day was a new adventure. With a caring good heart and good times past, Skip will be greatly missed.
