Scott Matthew Holcomb
Scott Matthew Holcomb, 28, of Goldendale, died Oct. 27, 2009.
Scott was born to Mary Ann (Rising) and Bruce Allen Holcomb on Oct. 14, 1981, in Goldendale, where he lived his entire life. Scotty loved the outdoors; fishing, hunting and collecting unusual objects. As a kid, his enjoyment was found in Ninja Turtles, hunting for bobcat tracks, and creating artwork.
He will be remembered for his big heart and without a doubt would give the shirt off his back to anybody in need. Scotty was loved by many. He was the kind of person that knew how to live in the moment, share his outrageous stories and give until there was no more left to give.
Scott is survived by his parents, Bruce Holcomb and Mary Ann Holcomb Rising; grandparents Mary and Rex Holcomb and Dorthy Rising; sister Sarah; many aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
A memorial service was held Nov. 1, at the Goldendale Country Club. Columbia Hills Memorial Chapel handled arrangements.
