Lester Lee Miller

     Lester Lee Miller, 78, of Cottage Grove, Ore., died Feb. 27, 2010.
     He was born Feb. 11, 1931, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Haskell and Ruby Miller. Lester married Iva Lee Kephart in Santa Rose, Calif., on Aug. 3, 1975.
     He worked in the logging industry in California, and at Crown Zellerback in Estacada, until he retired. At that time, he moved to Goldendale.
     Lester enjoyed fishing, hunting, prospecting, and traveling in his motorhome.
     Survivors include his wife, Iva Lee Miller; three stepsons, Hobert Kephart of Crescent Lake, Ore., Roger Kephart, of Goldendale, and Ricky Kephart of Culp Creek, Ore.; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Delano, or Orange, Texas; and two brothers, Tony Miller and Bob Miller.
     A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on March 8, at the Brambaugh Cemetery in Cottage Grove. A gathering of family and friends will be held at noon, at Calvary Baptist Church on S. 6th Street in Cottage Grove.
