Timothy Lee Scherer
Timothy Lee Scherer, 44 of Goldendale, died in Portland, on March 4, 2010.
He was born in Goldendale on March 26, 1965, to Nondis (Ward) and Donald Scherer. Timothy grew up in Goldendale, graduating with the Goldendale High School class of 1984. After attending ITT in Portland for two years, Timothy lived in the Tri-Cities and Spokane. He always loved music and could play anything. He formed his first musical group when he was in the eighth grade. Through the years Timothy played keyboard and sang in various bands; most recently with his country rock band “Gun Shy.” The group traveled all along the Columbia River and throughout the Northwest performing at a number of events and venues. Besides his music, Timothy enjoyed bowling, billiards, and the company of his many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1989.
Timothy Scherer is survived by his mother, Nondis Scherer, and his brother, Terrence Scherer, both of Goldendale.
A memorial service will be held at noon, Saturday, March 27, at Columbia Hills Memorial Chapel in Goldendale with a reception to follow at the Legion Hall.
