Lillian White

     Lillian “Mickey/Mike” Myresa White, 83, a resident of The Dalles, died at a local care facility on Monday, March 15, 2010.
     She was born in Farmington, Mich., on Nov. 18, 1926, the sixth child of 14 children to Myron A. and Bonnie B. (Robertson) Goodrich. She grew up in and around Goldendale and graduated from Cascade Locks High School.
     Lillian married George Orville White in Goldendale on June 18, 1946. She resided in Goldendale until moving to The Dalles in 2008. Lillian was a homemaker and provided daycare for family and special friends. She attended the First Baptist Church and Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, knitting, cooking and busy making things for family and loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
     She is survived by her three daughters, Constance Dyson, Doresa Ihrig, both of Goldendale, and Johnee Handy and her husband Michael of Spokane; two sons, Lonnie White and his wife Pamela, and George Jasper White, all of Goldendale; 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren, with two more on the way.
     Per her request, no services will be held. Private cremation was held at Win-Quatt Crematory in The Dalles with Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
