Yvonne Myrella (Tidyman) Martin
Yvonne Myrella (Tidyman) Martin, 74, of Goldendale, died April 27, 2010.
She was born in Shelton, to Alvin and Mildred (Robertson) Tidyman on Jan. 23, 1936.
Yvonne grew up in Shelton and at the age of 19, married William Culpepper. They divorced, and she raised her family in McClary. After her children were raised, Yvonne moved to Seattle and later to Oceanside, Calif., where she worked as a security guard before retiring and settling in Goldendale to be closer to family.
She loved to crochet, work crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and watch home and garden television.
Yvonne is survived by her children, Barb Culpepper of Spokane, Lynn Culpepper of Oceanside, Carl Culpepper of Burien, Earl Culpepper of Graham, Judy Culpepper of Auburn, and Micki Robinson of Goldendale; brother Wayne Tidyman of Centralia; sisters Arlene Wiggins of Brooks, Ore., Joy Wetter of Castle Rock, and Ardis of Shelton; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at Columbia Hills Memorial Chapel in Goldendale on Sunday, May 2.
