Darleen Ryan McPherson
Darleen Ryan McPherson died in Glenwood on June 16, 2010, at the age of 32.
She was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., on February 28, 1978.
Darleen graduated from Tillamook High School in Tillamook, Ore., and married Kirt McPherson in Glenwood on June 18, 2004. She loved doing arts and crafts with her children. Some of her hobbies were crocheting (especially making special hats), creating collages of family photos, and cooking. Darleen also enjoyed many outdoor activities such as riding horses, camping, boating, Harley riding, and going 4x4ing in their Jeep. Special times included sitting around the campfire with her family and friends. Darleen loved her church, the Lyle Celebration Center.
She is survived by her husband, Kirt McPherson of Glenwood; children Stephen McPherson of Glenwood, Makayla Schwend of Tillamook, Christopher McPherson and Tiffany McPherson of Glenwood; brother Jason Merryman of Glenwood; mother- and father-in-law Terry and Earl Kuhnhausen of Glenwood; grandparents Pat and Bette Setters of Lyle; many foster brothers and sisters; brothers-in-law Randy Pimley, Travis McPherson and Rick McPherson; sister-in-law Melody West, Stephanie McPherson
A celebration of Darleen's life was held June 25, at the Lyle Celebration Center in Lyle with a procession following from Lyle to Kirt McPherson's residence in Glenwood.
A celebration of Darleen's life was held after the services at the Kirt McPherson home in Glenwood. Gardner Funeral Home's Columbia River Crematory handled cremation arrangements.
