Dana (Tobin) Slawson
Dana (Tobin) Slawson, 69, of Centerville, died at her home in Centerville on Aug. 15, 2010.
She was born Nov. 23, 1940, in Goldendale to Edna (Jaekel) and Lyle Tobin.
Dana graduated from Goldendale High School in 1958. She left Goldendale in 1960 and returned in 1990 to Centerville.
Throughout the years, Dana came home for frequent visits. She worked at Klickitat Valley Bank as a teller and also at KC Pharmacy, a job she particularly loved. Dana enjoyed reading, gardening and her dogs and horses. During her illness, Dana appreciated the care given by her husband, Don.
Survivors are her husband, Don Slawson; son Kevin Beebe and his wife Drue; daughter Kelli Beebe and her partner, Sabrina Reyes; grandsons, Chance and Dalton Beebe and Mason Reyes.
A private family graveside service was held at Centerville Cemetery in Centerville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Dana's memory to Celilo Cancer Center, 1800 E. 19th St., The Dalles, OR 97058. Columbia Hills Memorial Chapel handled arrangements.
