Public comment focuses on projects

 


Monday night, people from the community shared their displeasure with some of the proposed road projects that the city council and mayor have put into the Six Year Street Transportation Improvement Plan.

At the city council meeting this week, a public hearing was opened for anyone who wished to vocalize their thoughts on any of the road projects. Several people thought that the Third Street Extension project that has been proposed is both unnecessary and would cause a handful of safety concerns.
