Three generations of the present day Goldendale area Brokaw Families gathered in front of the Klickitat County Historical Society’s 1897 steam tractor displayed in front of the Presby Museum. The steam tractor was built in 1897 by Russell & Company at Massillon, Ohio. Soon after being built, the steam tractor was purchased by the Brokaw Brothers (Charles and Ira Brokaw, Sr.) and brought to the Klickitat Valley.
