Glass Onion features art, food, and (coming soon) fresh bread

The Glass Onion has been winning awards for its food and ambiance for a while now, but it’s also an art gallery. Granted, viewing is best done seated and over a plate of food, but the restaurant almost always has some art in it.

Right now, for example, it features the work of Goldendale artist Donna Van Tuyl, whose gentle pastel landscapes capture the luminescence of Klickitat County.

“I love Klickitat County,” Van Tuyl says. “I grew up in Wenatchee, with a horse. My cousins had a cattle ranch. They let me ride the cows with them. So we were outdoors all summer long, in the mountains. When we came here, it was so much like where I grew up, with all the sagebrush, and high mountain...

Keep open until my wife and I return to g'dale for my 50th high school reunion in 2014- sounds like a great retaurant with great bread and art- where is it located in town?
