Police chase ends with multi-vehicle crash

A damaged Goldendale police car stolen by a suspect sits next to the parked car it rammed.

UPDATED INFORMATION.

Goldendale city police and Klickitat County Sheriff's deputies converged on a suspect attempting to elude capture Sunday morning, and by the time the suspect was apprehended, four vehicles were heavily damaged, including the Goldendale police car that the suspect stole. An officer sustained minor injuries, and the suspect was taken by ambulance to Klickitat Valley Health.

The incident occurred about 11 a.m. near the corner of Collins and Columbus Avenue in Goldendale.

Reports on the incident remain preliminary as police continue their investigation, but the early details are that an attempt was made to arrest Kyle Fowler at a residence in Goldendale. People in the res...
