Lady Wolves sweep first two league opponents

 


Goldendale had an easy go in their first two league matches, sweeping Cle Elum-Roslyn and Highland in 3-0 matches.

Both matches were on the road, first at Cle Elum on Tuesday. Goldendale won the opener 25-15 and began to wear out the Warriors with a 25-13 win and final game victory of 25-7. As evidence of the hitting assault, the Warriors logged more than 30 digs in the match.

The leading hitter for the Lady Timberwolves was Karissa Ihrig with 13. Three other Wolves were in the double digits with Madison Holbrook and Bree Wandersheid knocking down 11 each and Brooke Graff scoring on 10 kills.
