City approves community center study, public works director to retire

 


Goldendale Public Works Director Keith Grundei said Monday that he plans to retire next year.

He made his plan known at the City Council meeting that evening. Grundei said he will retire on March 31, 2013.

At the meeting, Grundei also commented that Collins Street construction has begun, with crews working on the street near Klickitat Valley Health.

In other council business, the city approved a contract with Traho Architects in Yakima for $24,000 to conduct a feasibility study for a possible community center in Goldendale.
