Vandals win a pair to start second half rally

 


Klickitat put together a pair of 3-0 wins last week to move up a spot in the Greater Columbia Gorge League with a 4-2 record. The wins came on the road against Lyle-Wishram and Yakama Tribal.

The Vandals came out with hard earned wins over the Cougars in Lyle, 25-17 and 25-15. In the final game, Lyle-Wishram made a stand and pushed the match to the limit before losing 27-25. Dieryon Lacock had a pair of kills and three blocked shots for the Cougars. The Vandals spread around the hitting with Mackenzie Schlangen leading the way with six kills. Nicolle Oldfield, Sarah Ingebo and KeAndra Kessinger had five kills each. Lara Parson who has been hampered as a hitter contributed to the win with...
