Lady Wolves beat Rangers on seniors’ night as season comes to end for Goldendale

 


Goldendale put a wrap on their boys and girls basketball seasons, Saturday at Mabton with both teams losing their final games to finish outside the District playoffs.

The Timberwolves were seconds away from taking the game to overtime, but a buzzer beater by Mabton gave the Vikings a 46-44 win. Lucas Denney scored 13 points and Kaden Milliren had 10 for Goldendale. The Wolves also lost the final home game on Friday 63-35 to Naches Valley. The Wolves finish the season 2-12 in league and 4-16 overall.
