Glenwood Easter egg hunt, Saturday at 10 a.m.

Easter will be celebrated big-time in Glenwood this week. The Pioneer Memorial Community Church and the Glenwood Women’s Club have several activities planned for the community and guests to commemorate the special holiday.

Beginning Friday night, March 29 at 7:00 the PMCC will hold a Good Friday Service. The Glenwood Women’s Club annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place at the park off of Pine Vista Road Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. The event is for children pre-school through fourth grades. Three areas will be set up for various age groups to ensure a good time for everyone! The Easter Bunny will be there hiding both real and treasure-filled plastic eggs and visiting with the crowd. Parents and grandparents – remember your cameras!

Sunday morning will be a busy one for church activities. Bright and early at 6:40 the Easter Sunrise Service will take place at the Jorgensen OK Ranch on Kreps Lane. At 10 a.m. there will be a potluck brunch at the church – followed by the 11 a.m.Easter Service.
