Hearing set for July in theft case

 


A hearing has been set for July 17 for Tammy Henderson, 41, of Goldendale on a charge of first degree theft. Henderson pled not guilty in court on May 6 and was released on her own recognizance.

The charge stems from a complaint by the Klickitat Valley Hospital Employee Association who contacted Goldendale Police on Nov. 19, 2012 with suspicions of theft from the employee’s charitable fund. According to the police report, Henderson, who was secretary/treasurer of the association put off several requests by members to look at the financial records. The complaint says a subsequent audit of the records shows $5,366.94 is unaccounted for, stemming from at least 58 transactions over a two-ye...
