Clinton and Brown set school records at 1B Regional track meet

Two Bickleton records fell on Saturday as the combined District 5 and District 6 Regional track meet was held in Ephrata. From the first meet of the year, Lindsay Brown and Peter Clinton challenged the Bickleton High School records in the high jump and pole vault, respectively. They came close several times and Brown did manage to tie Katelynn Clinton for the record at 5-feet, but the records remained elusive until Saturday.

It was just a matter of time before the sophomore, Brown, would own the high jump record. With one meet left this year and two years ahead of her, the only question is how high will she go? Brown cleared 5-1 to win the event ahead of Waterville’s Elaina Thompsen, wh...
