Lyle graduates 19 Cougars, west side students visit Frey farm

Andrew Christiansen MOMENT TO REMEMBER: The Lyle High School graduating class gathered to enter the gym to “pomp and Circumstance.” Nineteen students graduated during Saturday ceremonies.

Saturday found residents busy… some were at the Saturday Market in the park; others were packed into the high school gym watching the Class of 19 graduates receive their diplomas and turn their tassels. Some residents were celebrating with family reunions, while others were seen doing yard work; probably fulfilling the family “need to do” list, while the rest were attending to their own personal interests. Besides the periodic light sprinkle of rain, all in all… it was a great day.

Speaking of the Saturday Market… An OSU Master Food Preserver will be at the Lyle Community Market on Saturday, June 8, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to answer your drying, freezing and canning food preservation...
