Trout Lake and Glenwood sever basketball and volleyball ties

 


Trout Lake and Glenwood high schools are going their separate ways in volleyball and basketball this year. According to Trout Lake Athletic Director, Mike Wood, the two schools had been fielding joint teams for the past eight years and are likely to continue to do so for boys’ soccer and track and field.

“It was the right time to make this adjustment for both schools,” said Wood. “We are TL this year,” a reference to the familiar TLG shortcut to the combined school teams. Two sports, football and girls’ soccer, will be done in combination with Columbia-White Salmon.

A source from Glenwood school said that the plan is to have Glenwood teams for boys’ and girls’ basketball...
