Link hits hole-in-one, Bellamy-Shipp win title

BELLAMY-SHIPP: Jodi Bellamy and Alan Shipp share the winning trophy for overall best net score for the weekend member-guest golf tournament at the Goldendale Golf Club.

Bill Link hit a hole-in-one on the par 3 fourth hole at Goldendale Country Club, earning a tie for first place for him and his partner, Tim Furlong in flight with best net score of 130. Also shooting a 130 was the team of Butch Beyerlin and Lon Burkdoll.

But the overall winner came from flight one, the flight with the lowest handicaps, as Jodi Bellamy and Alan Shipp had a two round net score of 121. The score which is a combination of the duo’s best ball and handicap, was seven strokes better than the next best team, Dave Ross and Brad Cameron who shot 128.
