Eatery seeks to brighten evenings on Main Street

 


Judy and Dan Wilson, owners of the Golden Coyote Coffee shop, wanted to make a difference in the evenings on Main Street in Goldendale, so they decided to start feeding people.

“We want to bring people into town, on Main Street, in the evenings for just a nice meal and good company,” Judy Wilson said, “so they know they can come into town and have a good time.”

The first such event was Friday, Aug. 23, with a spaghetti feed, beginning at 4 p.m. and not wrapping up until close to 8 p.m. at Golden Coyote Coffee.

“This is going to go on every Friday night, a pasta meal of some sort for at least through September,” explained Judy Wilson. The cost for a filling meal was a mere $5,...
