County businesses hearing about bus tours

REACHING OUT TO THE COUNTY: Greater Goldendale Chamber of Commerce executive director Earlene Sullivan speaks to a gathering from around Klickitat County in Lyle Sept. 17 about bus tours coming to the area.

Businesses in Klickitat County are getting the pitch for tourist bus tours to come to the area.

Greater Goldendale Chamber of Commerce executive director Earlene Sullivan and Tamara Kaufman, new executive director of the Mt. Adams Chamber of Commerce, were at a meeting in Lyle Sept. 17, along with county commissioner David Sauter, Goldendale city administrator Larry Bellamy, and representatives from Maryhill Museum of Art and other institutions and businesses from around the county.
