Unitarians host end-of-life discussion

On Thursday, Nov. 21, the Goldendale Unitarian Universalist Fellowship launched their series of discussions and workshops dealing with end-of-life issues. Thursday's event brought a panel of professionals in the field: Derek Krentz, local Columbia Hills Memorial Chapel funeral director and undertaker, Susan Shipman, chaplain for KVH Home Health & Hospice, and Margaret Crowell, social worker for KVH Home Health & Hospice. The discussion was moderated by Sandra Choate.

The group plans to hold future events, including a hands-on workshop on advance directives, living wills, and legacy statements. This workshop will be held at the Goldendale Community Library on Monday, Dec. 16, at 6...
