New cattle killing sparks fresh KCSO action

 


The Klickitat County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) is continuing investigations into recent illegal killings of cattle.

On Oct. 12, KCSO began an investigation into the illegal shooting and butchering of a cow belonging Centerville rancher Will Sizemore. The butchered cow was located on the Yakama Indian Nation Reservation, approximately one-mile north of the guard shack on Cedar Valley Road.

Since 2003 KCSO has investigated several similar cases, many of which remain unsolved.

In August 2003 a cow was shot and killed on Kreps Ranch off of the BZ-Glenwood Highway. The cow was not butchered, and the case remains unsolved.
