The Rural 7 Fire Department serves an area of some 700 square miles througout Klickitat County, and it maintains 32 fire apparatuses with a couple of new pieces in Goldendale. The latest is a 2005 KW T-800 LowBoy truck, pictured above with a close-up at right of its operations console, which was purchased just last year. At top are all the trucks at Rural 7 stationed in Goldendale, from left to right across both top pictures: the new truck just mentioned; a 2009 International 4X4 structure engine; a 201 T-800 pumper tender (also purchased last year); a 2006 F350 Command truck; a 2009 International 4X4 Rescue 7 truck; a 2011 F450 4X4 brush truck; and a 2012 F350 4X4 command truck.
