Grapplers split double dual on Senior Night

QUICK ENDING: Dean Enstad pinned his Ki-Be opponent in 26 seconds during his Senior Night match.

There were no close matches with Mabton and Ki-Be last week in Goldendale, as the Timberwolves celebrated Senior Night by defeating the Vikings 50-18, but they lost to the Bears 52-28. Every match ended in a win by pin, major decision, technical fall or forfeit.

Goldendale honored its senior wrestlers, Dean Enstad, Reggie Sargeant, Kyle Wilkins, Zach Cully, Ben Wooden, Jakeb Partlow and Tristan Sheppard before the Tuesday night action. But, it was a freshman who led the way as Cameron Read won both of his evening matches with pins. Read first got it done against Mabton's Rudy Ramirez with 32 seconds left in the second round while leading 4-0. The second pin took more work against a Ki-Be...
