Lady Wolves win one, let another slip away in split with Warriors and Scotties

 


Goldendale’s Lady Timberwolves had a gut-check 43-37 win to complete the season sweep over Cle Elum-Roslyn, Friday night. The Wolves were down by just three points, 18-15 at the half, but were quickly behind by 10 in the third quarter before scratching back and eventually winning the quarter and going on to dominate the final eight minutes of play.

Goldendale went inside often with Kirstin Twohy scoring her game high 17 points on six buckets and 5-6 from the foul line. Twohy also grabbed six offensive rebounds as she went for double digits with 17 boards. Brooke Graffe added 10 points and seven rebounds in the win.
