Gray and Garner among award winners in regional art show

Eight pieces by area high school artists will be advancing to the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) statewide Superintendent's High School Art Show later this spring after being chosen as standouts among the 84 entries in this year's ESD 105 Regional High School Art Show.

The juror for this year's regional show was Dr. Shari Stoddard, associate professor in art education and director of the Visual Art Teaching Program at Central Washington University. All entries were judged on the basis of mastery of the medium used, composition, and creativity, and with no information regarding the school or teacher from which the pieces originated.
