Show goes on for injured high school student

Contributed: Taylor Thornley SOMETHING'S AFOOT: Cael Hawk (left, as the Grass Dancer) and Seth Olney (as the Traditional Dancer) show some steps at the prepation rehearsal last week for the Goldendale Talent Show this weekend. The pair will be opening the show both nights.

You'd pretty much have to go back to the days of The Ed Sullivan Show to match this much variety in an entertainment program.

(Note to younger readers: Ed Sullivan was a television personality in the mid 20th century-well, just Google him. He might be best remembered for showcasing a British pop band named after some insect.)

Talent of all ages will show up Friday night, May 2, at 7:30 at the Goldendale Grange to help raise money for high school student Raven Java McCandless, seriously injured earlier this year in a car accident .
