Trucking meeting coming

 


A service aiming to remind Washington and Oregon commercial truckers to keep their licenses current charges a mere $76 per truck to take care of the matter.

Such a service might be helpful—if it were true. It’s not. The so-called service collects the money and disappears like dust on the highway.

The scam is on a list of a few vital topics to be addressed at a special breakfast meeting for farm and commercial truckers May 28 at 9 a.m. at the Goldendale Grange. The event, called a DOT Farm and Commercial Trucking meeting, will cover topics related to trucking compliance and will allow a question and answer period.
