Domestic dispute ramps up to assault and stabbing

 


A domestic dispute escalated into a serious assault and stabbing at a residence on Pipeline Road in Goldendale, Saturday around 10:05 a.m. According to Goldendale Police, witnesses say that Christopher Wirshup was involved in a confrontation with a female at the residence when another man tried to intervene. Wirshup reportedly turned his attention to the man and pushed him down. The man pulled a knife on Wirshup and slashed him in the arm.

Witnesses say Wirshup bandaged his wound and got a gun, threatening to shoot the man. The man escaped after being chased around a vehicle in front of the house. Klickitat County Sheriff’s deputies and Goldendale police responded and arrested Wirshup....

This is rediculous the man with the knife should have never got involved He escalated unto himself don't try to stop a fight no matter who is fighting unless you're ready to fight as well and he never got her he would never do that EVER he got the gun for self defense from the guy with a knife that already stabbed him once so charges should be dropped against Chris and put and the other party involved
