Chess is center piece at Maryhill Museum

 


This Saturday features a solid day of activities related to the game of chess at Maryhill Museum, called:

Your Move! Celebrating the Game of Chess with Jeremy Silman

Celebrate the exhibition Cardboard, Clay and Crayons: Chess Sets by Young Northwest Artists, during this day-long program exploring one of the world’s most fascinating games. Student artists represented in the exhibition enjoy free museum admission on June 7.

Blitz Tournament with Washington Chess Federation, rounds at 10 a.m., noon, and 1:15 p.m.

Watch the game pieces fly in a flurry of activity as chess enthusiasts compete in rapid-fire games of chess. Free with museum admission.
